The KW V5 Racing (formerly: KW Competition 4A) is characterized by its innovative solid-piston technology for the race track. The technology allows the driver direct feedback from the vehicle. 

  • Piston rod diameter: 15 mm
  • Precise characteristic curve design in the range between 1,000 N and 10,000 N
  • Rotatable external reservoir as piggyback (45° positions) or with hose connection

V5 Racing Technology in detail

The compression damping is adjustable with 18 clicks in low-speed and 18 clicks in high-speed. The compression stage is set upon shipment.

The blow-off characteristic ensures optimum support for the vehicle body and guarantees a constant connection to the road.

The high-speed rebound stage influences how quickly the suspension spring relaxes back to its initial position.

Depending on the vehicle type, aluminum Unibal support bearings have a scalable camber adjustment and are optionally adjustable in caster.
